Press Release Body = Giovinazzo,Bari IT – Soon, performance artists and special
events in South Italy will have a new home among the trees and under the stars as
the Town of Giovinazzo prepares to its world-class amphitheater. The €30 million
euro amphitheater should be completed by summer 2009 with an expected capacity of
20,000. The facility has been specially designed to complement the natural
surroundings that so many have come to love over the years at the current location.

\"With its state-of-the art design and preservation of the natural environment, the
amphitheater at Giovinazzo,Bari will be unlike anything else in the region,\" said
Ing. Ignazio Carnevale, Director of the project and General Management for the
amphitheater. \"It will definitely be a signature facility for the region.\"

The Assosiation has secured some of the finest designers in the world to develop the
amphitheater.

\"The new amphitheater will allow for expanded performance opportunities in a
magnificent setting, including Bari own cultural groups as well as world-renown
touring artists,\" said Cultural Arts Director Laura Scivetti.

Three years after negociation with national, regional and local authorities to build
an amphitheater, the Cultural Assosiation of Giovinazzo,Bari is now poised to begin
work.

Ing. Ignazio Carnevale, hopes to break ground in January 2007 and finish the amphith
eater by August 2009, in time for its 2009 season.

\"We\'d like to bring a Michael Buble, a Gloria Estefan, a Vasco Rossi to the
amphitheater,\" he said. \"We\'d like to bring some big name acts.\"

The facility includes 800 square meters of stage space, six dressing rooms and sound
and lighting system. Ing. Carnevale said the amphitheater will have at least 9,000
seats with a lawn for at least 10,000 peoples.

Regional and local community services authorities , said they doesn\'t expect any
major issues from the council or any hang-ups in the official site approval process.
But they said he thinks Ing. Carnevale\'s groundbreaking date might be a little
ambitious. After getting approval from the council, it could take more than three
months for site plan approval.

The amphitheater is the cultural assosiation\'s first step in building a €30 million
euro facility in Giovinazzo,Bari. Ultimately the assosiation plans to build a
conservatory, sculpture g ardens and a 2,500-seat theater. Ing. Carnevale said the
assosiation started with the amphitheater because it is relatively time consuming
and more expensive to build and meshes with Bari\'s outdoor lifestyle. Fundraising
for the remaining projects will start quietly next year, and Ing. Carnevale said it
wouldn\'t gear up until after the amphitheater breaks ground.

\"It serves as a sample of what it could be when the whole facility is done,\" he
said. \"Let\'s put something on the ground that\'s tangible as well as a
revenue-generating source.\"
